Pipefitter (Plumber) (Hourly) - Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter (Plumber) (Hourly) to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our operations team, you will work on a three-shift rotation to support the installation and maintenance of steam and hot water heating systems, high pressure steam lines, sprinkler systems, and piping systems for various fluids and gases.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair steam and hot water heating systems, high pressure steam lines, sprinkler systems, and piping systems for air, oil, gas, paint, acids, solvents, fluids, etc.
- Cut, thread, bend, file, burr, ream, and install pipes, couplings, unions, elbows, flanges, valves, etc.
- Work with cast iron, brass, stainless steel, and other types of piping, valves, traps, and vessels.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure compliance with codes (Legislative, Safety) and maintain the highest quality of product leaving the workstation.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong knowledge of piping systems and pipefitting techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
