Full Time Intervenor for Deafblind Support

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Full Time Intervenor to support individuals who are deafblind in their daily lives. As an Intervenor, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Support communication and day-to-day living for individuals who are living with dual sensory impairment.
- Use communication techniques to relay information and empower the individual to participate and be successful in all aspects of daily living.
- Provide personal care as required, including lifts and transfers, toileting, personal hygiene, medication administration, etc.
- Assist with developing and supporting consumer goals and objectives.
- Assist with program development and ensure documentation and records are complete.
- Completion of a college diploma or certificate in the Intervenor for Deafblind Persons program, or a related human services field.
- Experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors.
- Experience supporting persons with mental health conditions.
- Communication in American Sign Language (ASL) or Signed Exact English (SEE).
- A valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, a clean current driver's abstract, and the ability to obtain automobile insurance with a minimum liability of $2 million.
- A competitive wage starting at $23.03/hour.
- Weekend shift premium.
