Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory, with a preference for a Master's Degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Applications Engineer within the electrical equipment manufacturing sector.
  • At least 10 years of technical experience in power equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of power electrical equipment along with UL Standards & NEC requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with persuasive and presentation capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 40%).
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, both externally and internally, as the primary focus of this role.
  • Collect valuable insights from customers through discussions, observations, feedback analysis, and close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Ensure that the engineering team aligns seamlessly with customer specifications, facilitating the creation of solutions that meet mechanical, electrical, safety, functional, cost, and manufacturability requirements across all product lines.
  • Maintain consistency between products and customer specifications by utilizing a thorough understanding of top-tier design principles, regulatory standards, industry best practices, and prevailing market trends.
  • Assess customer engagements by reviewing inquiries and collaborating closely with the Sales team to pinpoint high-potential fits for their portfolio and specific needs.
  • Effectively communicate and uphold the company's core competencies and values, proactively identifying opportunities to develop business that leverage these strengths.
  • Work collaboratively with the commercial operations team, sales managers, and project managers to strategically plan, prepare, and execute deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Skillfully align customer requirements with proposed standard or tailored solutions.
