Controller Opportunity in Oakville

Elby Professional Recruitment Inc is seeking a skilled Controller to lead a team of 4 and report to the Country Manager in Oakville. This role will involve accounting, financial analysis, planning, and budget control, as well as internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Closing books, consolidating financial results, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Preparing internal and external financial statements
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial analysis, planning, and budget control
  • Touching on profit and loss improvement and defining key performance indicators
  • Building and maintaining business plans to identify new opportunities
  • Managing all tax reporting
Requirements:
  • CPA preferred, with 7-10 years of solid controlling/accounting/finance experience - manufacturing background is strongly preferred
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to manage a team effectively
  • A self-starter who can work well cross-functionally
  • Year-end audit experience an asset
