About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software products using Java, J2EE, and Python.
  • Work with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL data stores.
  • Design and develop CI/CD and automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, and QA to design, develop, and deploy new platform features and functionality.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience developing, deploying, and debugging Java/J2EE applications and Python.
  • 6+ years of experience with database systems, including SQL or NoSQL data stores.
  • 4+ years of experience in development and design of CI/CD and automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of Agile Development principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SaaS product development.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native software solutions.
