Position Overview:

As the Scheduling Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing the scheduling framework to ensure efficient and client-focused service delivery. Collaborating closely with Service Coordinators and Program Managers, you will ensure that Personal Support Workers (PSWs) are assigned effectively, matching client needs with PSW competencies. You will actively participate in process enhancements, explore technological advancements, and nurture a culture of ongoing improvement, safety, and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage and refine staff schedules, seamlessly integrating new clients and adapting to dynamic changes.
  • Collaborate with our dedicated team of Service Coordinators and Program Managers to improve service delivery effectiveness.
  • Enhance service quality through continuous improvement initiatives, technology adoption, and a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and reporting to address staffing challenges and optimize resource allocation.
  • Lead and mentor Service Coordinators, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.
  • Advocate for client-centered care, ensuring timely and effective service delivery across diverse needs.
  • Perform on-site evaluations to resolve issues, uphold service quality standards, and follow up on reported incidents to maintain exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in healthcare or community service settings, particularly in staff scheduling and payroll management.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a healthcare-related discipline, with additional leadership or management training being a significant asset.
  • Extensive experience working with vulnerable populations, especially older adults.
  • Familiarity with relevant Ontario legislation, including the Personal Health Information Protection Act and the Home Care and Community Services Act.
  • Proficient in various administrative and technological tools, adaptable to both office-based and hybrid work environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work atmosphere.
  • A valid Vulnerable Police Record Check completed within the last 12 months is required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
