About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Municipal Engineer to join our team at Meridia Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership on municipal engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructural developments within urban environments.
  • Contribute to comprehensive civil design tasks, ensuring precision and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Apply specialized knowledge to transportation-related engineering, facilitating efficient and safe movement of people and goods through innovative design and planning.
  • Spearhead the design and execution of water, sanitary, and stormwater systems, emphasizing sustainability and functionality in these critical infrastructures.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, involving planning, organizing resources, managing timelines, and ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Take charge of project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Craft comprehensive documents and drawings essential for project execution, maintaining precision and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide on-ground support and guidance as necessary to ensure the smooth implementation of projects.
  • Leverage AutoCAD Civil 3D software for design, analysis, and documentation purposes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project workflows.
  • Oversee and manage construction processes, liaising between contractors and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' Municipal or Civil Engineer Experience or equivalent experience.
  • On path to registration or currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or P.GEO
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Proven project management and technical skills.
  • Experience with software like AutoCAD Civil 3D is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
