Job Title: Welder-Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fitter to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International. As a Welder-Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of data and verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements:
  • Experience in metal fabrication, welding, and repair.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, including TIG and MIG.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding with standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination required.
