Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc. O/A A & W Restaurant.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant environment.
  • Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff to ensure seamless execution of our menu offerings.
  • Train and develop our staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to promote a positive reputation for our restaurant.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in a food service environment.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Basic security clearance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a physically demanding environment.
