Vish is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our finance team.

Role Overview

We are a rapidly growing company in the professional hair color industry, and we require a Financial Operations Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and manage transactions into Quickbooks Online
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Facilitate employee benefits and employee expense reimbursements
  • Accounts payable/receivable: manage and process all accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Customer billing: addressing billing inquiries efficiently
  • Sales tax reconciliations: reconcile provincial and US sales tax, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations
  • Expense management: oversee and manage company expenses, including tracking and reporting expenditures
  • Support with ad hoc tasks and administrative projects as required

Requirements

  • Possess the ability to multitask and work effectively in order to meet deadlines
  • Have a strong sense of discretion and have been trusted with sensitive or personal information in the past
  • Certificate or diploma in Bookkeeping or a related field
  • Relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on AP/AR and reconciliations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in accounting software (QBO) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
