Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Mucho Burrito. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory levels and minimizing waste.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing overtime.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and initiative are essential for success in this role.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people is a plus.
