Position Overview

The Culinary Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff effectively while ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage food and kitchen supplies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Training: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Meal Preparation Planning: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
  • Tray Assembly Oversight: Supervise and verify the assembly of meal trays.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in food service management.
