The role of the Food Service Operations Manager involves overseeing the daily activities of a bustling dining establishment, ensuring that all operational procedures are effectively implemented.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College/CEGEP
  • Equivalent experience is also acceptable
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the types of services to be provided and develop operational protocols
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Manage and organize inventory effectively
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers for food and other essential items
  • Engage with clients regarding catering services or facility usage
  • Contribute to marketing strategies and their execution
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and assess daily operations
