About the Role

Riverside Recycling Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Demolition Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of demolition projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that a safe working environment is maintained.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, supervise workers, and train or arrange for training as needed.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and potentially odorous environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organization, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
