Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ENT Specialist to join our team at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality surgical services in otolaryngology, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-call services for regional hospitals
  • Consult with credentialed staff and regional partners
  • Manage peri-operative care for patients
  • Participate in quality improvement and safety activities
  • Contribute to strategic planning and program development
Requirements
  • Ontario license and certification by the Royal College within the last five years
  • Fellowship in otolaryngology recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Previous experience in otolaryngology
  • Demonstrated proficiency in otolaryngology procedures
Competencies
  • Function effectively as a consultant, integrating all of the CanMEDS roles
  • Establish and maintain clinical knowledge, skills, and attitudes
  • Perform complete and appropriate assessments of patients
  • Use preventive and therapeutic interventions effectively
  • Demonstrate proficient and appropriate use of procedural skills
