We are seeking an experienced ENT Specialist to join our team at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality surgical services in otolaryngology, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-call services for regional hospitals
- Consult with credentialed staff and regional partners
- Manage peri-operative care for patients
- Participate in quality improvement and safety activities
- Contribute to strategic planning and program development
- Ontario license and certification by the Royal College within the last five years
- Fellowship in otolaryngology recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Previous experience in otolaryngology
- Demonstrated proficiency in otolaryngology procedures
- Function effectively as a consultant, integrating all of the CanMEDS roles
- Establish and maintain clinical knowledge, skills, and attitudes
- Perform complete and appropriate assessments of patients
- Use preventive and therapeutic interventions effectively
- Demonstrate proficient and appropriate use of procedural skills
