Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 2716154 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution
    • Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
    • Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
    • Oversee maintenance and repairs of vehicle to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Cargo Handling
    • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
    • Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transit
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
    • Prepare and submit necessary documentation, including driver logs and inspection reports
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with dispatch team, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
    • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with GPS navigation systems
