Accounting Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at Axios Research Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as reconcile accounts and prepare trial balance of books.
  • Develop and maintain general ledgers and financial statements, and prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
