Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at C&G PAINTING & DECORATING. As a key member of our site operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and setting up scaffolding and other equipment.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment. Manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads are essential.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Strong teamwork and communication skills are necessary to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to travel to various locations. A vehicle will be supplied by the employer, and you will be expected to be willing to travel.
