Job Title: Estimator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing quotes for building owners, contractors, and tender opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing detailed quotes and proposals for fire protection projects
  • Reviewing drawings and specifications to ensure accurate estimates
  • Coordinating with consultants, engineers, and contractors to secure purchase orders and contracts
  • Conducting site visits to assess project requirements and liaise with site crews
  • Managing projects from design to completion, ensuring timely and profitable delivery

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
  • 427A Sprinkler Fitter Certificate an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in design, installation, sales, or project management in the fire protection industry
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
