Job Summary

The EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative and Accounting Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing and processing invoices, accounts payable and receivable, and financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process invoices, accounts payable and receivable, and financial records
  • Operate with confidentiality to participate in financial operations under the direction of the accountant
  • Design, verify, and review various reports and invoices from suppliers
  • Communicate with suppliers, services, and purchasing departments
  • Schedule and track invoices
  • Prepare and issue weekly payments
  • Manage archives and classification
  • Manage customer accounts and analyze financial statements
  • Provide administrative support to management
  • Implement occasional projects
  • Perform other related tasks

Requirements

  • Bilingual French/English
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, office suite)
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness
  • Ability to organize time
  • Precision and meticulousness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

Additional Information

  • 40-hour workweek (Monday to Friday)
