About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Officer to join our team at Stella's Circle. As a key member of our community support team, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and case histories to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address clients' needs and eligibility for specific services.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients, including suicide prevention and conflict resolution.
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings to promote independence and community integration.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as social work or community development.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field, including community support and case management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse client populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
