Job Title: Supervisor, Machine Shop

A CLASS TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR LTD is seeking a skilled Supervisor, Machine Shop to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our machine shop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure smooth operation of the machine shop
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Oversee the operation of company equipment and machinery
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Set up and maintain machines and equipment
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to perform tasks
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a machine shop or similar environment
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Steel-toed safety boots required
Work Environment:

The machine shop is a dusty and noisy environment. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
