Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Establish reference points for installations
  • Assemble and install components for refrigeration and air conditioning systems using hand and power tools
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing techniques
  • Install, troubleshoot, and overhaul heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
  • Conduct system startups and perform leak tests
  • Recharge systems with refrigerants and calibrate components
  • Repair and replace parts for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems
  • May service equipment in refrigerated transport vehicles
  • Provide customer support during field operations
  • Coordinate with the Dispatch team for scheduling and service efficiency
  • Prepare work estimates for clients as needed
