About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent, Building Maintenance to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's maintenance and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of our building's systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Supervision: Supervise and train other maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety and security checks to ensure the building and its occupants are protected.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, management, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift heavy objects and work at heights.

Language

This position requires fluency in English.
