Job Summary:

Mastronardi Produce is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Quality Control Specialist: Shipping to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of incoming shipments, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Properly date code and label shipments, and ensure that all products are stored in a clean and organized manner.
  • Operate a forklift to transport products around the warehouse, and ensure that all products are stored in a safe and accessible location.
  • Accurately count and review product inventory, and ensure that all products are properly rotated and stored.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of produce quality, and ensure that all products meet company standards.
  • Follow all company food safety and warehouse safety programs, and ensure that all employees are trained and aware of their responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of warehouse order selecting experience required, produce experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and reading skills in English, as well as basic mathematical skills.
  • Experience operating a forklift.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Background noise approaches 70 decibels.
  • Capable of lifting at least 30 pounds.
  • Position requires sitting, standing, walking, and bending on a regular basis.
