Bakery Operations Manager

Central Alberta Co-op is seeking a skilled Bakery Manager to lead our bakery department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the bakery department, ensuring efficient production and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate a team of bakery staff, providing coaching and training to ensure excellent customer service and product quality.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure accurate pricing and tagging of products, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Monitor customer feedback and concerns, responding promptly to resolve issues.
- Participate in recruitment, training, and performance management of bakery staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive sales growth and improve overall store performance.
- Grade 12 or equivalent education and three years of retail supervisory experience.
- Business-related education or experience in managing business initiatives, including financial analysis.
- Previous experience in leading a bakery department is an asset.
