Job Summary

Johns Manville is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Innisfail, Alberta manufacturing facility. As a key member of our Electrical Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including motors, generators, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of plant systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action as needed.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified electrician with an Alberta Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven industrial plant maintenance experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Above average troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley VFD, PLC 5,500, and RSLOGIX 5000.
  • Experience with Ethernet, Control Net, and Data Highway.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Honeywell DCS experience.
  • Instrumentation knowledge.
  • Electronics expertise.
  • SAP Maintenance Management Systems experience.
  • Medium Voltage Systems knowledge.
