Position Overview:

The Course Instructor will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education within the School of Social Work. This position involves engaging with students and facilitating their learning experience through effective instruction and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all instructional and evaluative aspects of the assigned course segment.
  • Provide additional support to students beyond scheduled class hours.
  • Complete required training and adhere to the policies and procedures of Nipissing University.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: PhD in Social Work or a closely related discipline.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is essential.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience at the post-secondary level is required.
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
  • A minimum of two years of professional practice experience in Social Work or a related field is necessary.
