**Role Overview**
The warehouse in Peterborough plays a crucial role in the management of materials, including their storage, dispatch, and receipt from various construction sites across Canada. This facility is also tasked with supplying the necessary tools and equipment for these projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the reception and categorization of incoming materials;
  • Confirm the accuracy of technical documentation upon receipt;
  • Optimize warehouse space for efficiency;
  • Prepare shipping documentation;
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and make necessary adjustments in the inventory management system;
  • Coordinate the repair and disposal of materials;
  • Execute transactions within the inventory system;
  • Procure tools as needed for site mobilizations;
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts;
  • Perform general warehouse duties as required.

**Qualifications and Experience**

  • Completion of secondary or post-secondary education;
  • Experience in industrial construction;
  • Familiarity with industrial tools is advantageous;
  • Strong sense of urgency and organizational skills;
  • Proficient data entry skills;
  • Forklift operation certification;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Previous experience in warehouse and administrative roles is a plus;
  • Knowledge of SAP is beneficial;
  • Self-motivated and proactive;
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Team-oriented mindset;
  • Good physical condition, including the ability to lift up to 45 lbs and navigate stairs frequently;
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
