Key Responsibilities

As a Plumbing Support Technician, your tasks will include:

  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Cleaning and lubricating cranes.
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assisting in the alignment of pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Supporting drilling and blasting operations on construction sites.
  • Leveling earth to meet fine grade specifications.
  • Paving and raking asphalt.
  • Cleaning and organizing salvaged materials.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Feeding and tending to machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Directing traffic in and around construction zones.
  • Selecting appropriate types and sizes of pipes as needed.
Safety and Security

A basic security clearance is required for this position.

Physical Demands

This role is physically demanding and includes:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meeting tight deadlines.
  • Performing repetitive tasks.
  • Maintaining attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Handling weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Tools and Equipment
