Job Summary

s.s.w construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Plumbing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting plumbers and other construction professionals in various tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Help clean and lubricate cranes and other heavy equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Support medical examiners and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Participate in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Select type and size of pipe required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding work with repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots required
