Your role will be integral to our collaborative healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing services to patients and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and implement effective care plans.
- Advocate for patients and provide education and counseling to support their health journeys.
- Contribute to a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing health promotion and maintenance.
- Work flexibly across various units, adapting to the dynamic needs of the hospital environment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Active registration or eligibility for a practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Completion of required refresher courses if not actively practicing as a Registered Nurse in recent years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications such as CTAS, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program are advantageous.
