We are seeking a dedicated Lot/Yard Attendant to enhance our operations at NationaLease. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our vehicle lot, ensuring that all units are ready for delivery and displayed in an orderly manner.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Lot/Yard Attendant, your main duties will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles for any visible defects or damages.
- Documenting damages and missing items on the delivery receipt.
- Parking new vehicles in designated areas.
- Keeping the vehicle lot organized and tidy, moving units as instructed by management.
- Picking up and delivering vehicles to storage or customers as required.
- Ensuring all vehicles are operational and reporting any issues to management.
- Securing unit keys and ensuring all vehicles are locked.
- Transporting parts, personnel, and necessary paperwork as needed.
- Cleaning and maintaining vehicle interiors and exteriors.
- Replacing small parts that are missing or defective.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Class 3 Driver's License.
- Experience operating a skid steer is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with driving larger vehicles and trucks.
- A strong work ethic and a positive demeanor.
- Customer service skills are a plus.
- Capability to tow trailers.
