The role involves a range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the educational experience for students in the field of Dental Therapy. The selected candidate will be tasked with the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and upload course materials, ensuring all links and content are functional prior to course commencement.
- Maintain regular communication with students, providing guidance and support throughout their learning journey.
- Assess and grade assignments, monitor student performance, and deliver constructive feedback in a timely manner.
- Oversee exam submissions, finalize grades, and manage necessary documentation for Continuing Education and relevant associations.
- Design and organize lab sessions, including preparation of materials and post-session cleanup.
- Conduct demonstrations and teach essential skills, addressing student inquiries and facilitating hands-on learning experiences.
- Administer performance skill assessments as required, ensuring compliance with educational standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Applicants should possess the following:
- A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, with recent practice in Dental Therapy.
- Experience as a Clinical Evaluation Assessor is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic teaching environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven capability to collaborate within a team and build positive professional relationships.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Dental Software is essential.
- Familiarity with online instructional technologies is considered an asset.
