Position Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled paralegal to support our dedicated team of legal professionals specializing in real estate and property development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process various legal documents essential for land acquisition and development, including conveyancing documents, municipal land title notices, and housing agreements.
  • Conduct thorough land title and due diligence searches.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders regarding legal matters.
  • Manage special projects and assignments as needed.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience as a paralegal in real estate, with a focus on commercial land acquisitions and complex development projects. Familiarity with municipal development application processes is essential. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the Land Title Act and Land Title Survey Authority practices. Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while fostering collaborative relationships are critical for success in this role. A diploma or certificate from an accredited paralegal program is required.

Compensation: A competitive hourly rate, along with a comprehensive benefits package and an earned day off program, is provided.
