We are seeking a caring, passionate, and enthusiastic Personal Support Worker to join our dedicated team, committed to providing exceptional service to our residents, ensuring their safety, health, and happiness. On a daily basis, our PSWs will enhance the delivery of personal and nursing care to meet the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care to residents.
- Offer emotional and social support to residents and their families, including palliative care.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to address the needs of residents.
- Provide support to your colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a PSW Program Certificate or Diploma that meets the standards set by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association.
- A genuine passion for delivering quality care.
- Familiarity and experience with care planning systems and documentation are essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with staff, residents, and families.
