Position Overview

Premium Modern Homes Ltd. is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in masonry work, with a focus on bricklaying and related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units with precision.
  • Veneer Installation: Lay bricks and stones to create attractive veneer facings.
  • Prefabricated Units: Construct and install prefabricated masonry components.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret sketches and blueprints to determine material requirements.
  • Cutting and Trimming: Use hand and power tools to cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specifications.
  • Chimney Construction: Lay bricks to build residential and commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Industrial Masonry: Lay radial bricks for the construction of industrial chimney shells.
  • Firebrick Installation: Install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks.
  • Furnace Lining: Line or reline furnaces and kilns using various refractory materials.
  • Restoration Work: Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years to less than 5 years in masonry work.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
