About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Bourbon Street Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are clean and sanitized at all times.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and storage areas.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
    • Portion and wrap foods for service.
    • Package take-out food for customers.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
    • Sharpen kitchen knives.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
    Requirements
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
    Work Environment

Bourbon Street Grill is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be working in a team-oriented setting with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
