About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Bourbon Street Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Dishroom Operations: Operate dishwashers, wash and dry dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure that all dishes are put away in their designated storage areas.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits, and preparing simple food items.
  • Stocking and Receiving: Receive and store supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning materials, in designated storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • General Kitchen Duties: Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned by management, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Will train the right candidate.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
