Job Overview

As the Retail Operations Lead, you will play a crucial role in providing operational assistance to the Retail sales teams. Your primary responsibilities will include documenting and analyzing existing business workflows, pinpointing process deficiencies or frequent errors, and suggesting enhancements to minimize mistakes, optimize workflows, create efficiencies, and ultimately boost sales performance within the Retail sector.

In this capacity, you will spearhead significant projects that influence the Retail sales teams, support various initiatives, and oversee change management efforts. Leveraging your expertise in the Retail domain, you will cultivate strong relationships with leadership and sales representatives. Additionally, you will oversee the reporting and management of the operational budget and expenditures for the Retail Channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution as the primary stakeholder of change; advocate for the Retail channel
  • Manage internal projects; collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to establish project timelines and monitor deliverables
  • Present project strategies, outcomes, and updates to Sales Leaders
  • Define, document, and support daily operations and operational programs, processes, and policies within Retail channels
  • Identify knowledge or process gaps and propose new processes, tools, procedures, or solutions to support the sales goals of the Retail channel
  • Plan, manage, and report on all operational budgets and expenditures for the Retail channel
  • Oversee and support knowledge management tools and resources
  • Lead transitions for Retail locations, including onboarding and offboarding
  • Provide support to and collaborate with internal stakeholders and project teams
  • Evaluate agent and customer impact and communicate details effectively
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in telecommunications, sales support, or Retail sales
  • 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, operations, or channel support
  • Exceptional presentation and project management capabilities
  • Strong communication skills (both internal and external)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to recognize and manage sensitive and confidential information
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Retail systems (such as Retail IQ, Oracle, CREATE, etc.)
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to analyze needs and convey complex findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Highly creative, self-driven individual with confidence and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with team members
