Food Service Supervisor

Pita Pit is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and quality food preparation.
- Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to new staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality standards.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
Pita Pit is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a team-oriented setting, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Language:The primary language of communication is English.
Hours:35 hours per week.
