Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Stonewood Group Inc. as we continue to expand our operations in the natural food and beverage industry.

Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing all financial and administrative matters of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a strong understanding of financial principles, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support the company's growth and expansion.
  2. Manage the company's financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements and budgets.
  3. Provide financial guidance and counsel to the CEO and executive management team.
  4. Oversee the accounting, hedging, tax, insurance, audit, budget, and credit and treasury functions.
  5. Manage the company's cash flows and ensure timely payment of invoices and other financial obligations.
  6. Lead the budgeting and auditing processes for the company.
  7. Ensure that the financial practices and processes of the organization are efficient and above reproach.
  8. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance staff in the organization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A CA designation or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in a manufacturing environment, including plant/cost accounting experience.
  3. Experience managing a finance department and directing all activities involved in financial stewardship.
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and communicate clearly to both inside and outside constituencies.
  5. A strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with the ability to apply commercial and financial principles and understand the commercial impact of own work.
