About the Role

As Learning and Development Advisor, you will work closely with the Human Resources and Operations teams to design, develop, and deploy skills and talent development programs. You will collaborate with HR teams and partners to analyze and assess emergent skills needs, and propose tailored solutions.

You will implement and monitor performance indicators and evaluation tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning programs. You will also plan and coordinate multiple projects, while overseeing phases, activities, and schedules, and monitoring progress.

You will manage and optimize the use of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring its effectiveness for training purposes. You will facilitate training sessions or workshops by integrating various learning and assessment methods.

You will support teams in change management by facilitating the integration of new skills and practices arising from initiatives. You will monitor the latest trends, techno-pedagogical innovations, and best practices, and make recommendations accordingly.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, training and skills development, or related field
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years' experience
  • Experience in implementing and deploying large-scale organizational programs
  • Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Solid understanding of organizational dynamics, andragogy, and talent management principles and methodologies
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships that foster collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent control over priorities and deadlines
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms) and ease with technology and videoconferencing tools
  • Knowledge of learning management platforms (LMS)
  • Membership of professional associations (e.g. CHRP, SHRM, ADT) an asset
