Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Northwood Plaza Hotel and Banquet Room. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Restock linens, towels, and toiletries in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities and services to guests.
  • Assist with laundry and linen duties.
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities.
  • Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
Requirements:
  • Will train.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Physical stamina to perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
