About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Analytics Coordinator to join our team at Sleep Country Canada/Dormez-vous?. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving business growth and success through data-driven insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and Analyze Business Performance: Monitor and report on sales performance, track category results, and provide actionable insights to support business growth.
  • Develop and Maintain Reports: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and provide analysis and recommendations for events, promotions, vendor performance, and e-commerce vs. store results.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Category Management, eCommerce, Sales, and IT teams to manage inventory, develop promotions, and drive business results.
  • Identify Opportunities and Develop New Reporting: Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and develop new reporting to support business decisions.
  • Present Insights to Management: Prepare presentations for management and support teams with ad-hoc reporting needs.
Requirements
  • Education: University/College Diploma or equivalent in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail allocation, demand planning, and related fields.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with the ability to drive business insights and provide recommendations.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and proficient in PowerPoint, with familiarity with ERP and other systems an asset.
