Job Title: Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Sandstone Motel & Lounge and Sandstone Gas Plus. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding environment
  • Restock shelves and supplies as needed
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
