Job Title: Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at M & S CONVENIENCE STORE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels as needed
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting tills and balancing the cash register
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash
