We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Industrial Design and Innovation to join our team. This new position will report directly to the Vice-President of Innovation and will play a critical role in meeting our vision for differentiating our products through exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating the product experience for all our fleet, with a strong focus on the principal customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement industrial design strategies that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.

• Collaborate with international design brands and luxury products to integrate their designs into our aircraft.

• Conduct research on emerging design and technology trends to stay ahead of the competition.

• Present design ideas, concepts, and products to customers and gather feedback from end-customers and representatives.

• Create a detailed and inspiring vision for identifying and meeting customers' needs for business aircraft.

• Lead, plan, organize, and execute projects with a team of highly skilled and diverse designers.

• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to rapidly experiment and iterate on design concepts to bring them to reality.

Requirements:


• A university degree in Industrial Design or equivalent, with an MBA preferably.

• 20+ years of experience in Industrial Design, Interior Design, R&D, and related activities.

• A track record of design innovation successes.

• A good understanding of the Business Aircraft Industry, key players, markets, and customers.

• Creativity, collaboration, and a drive to innovate.

• Strong communication skills to engage people and generate buy-in.

• Experience leading a team.
