Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Food Counter Attendant to join our team at The Saskatoon Farm.
Job Summary:The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food counter.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Food Preparation and Handling: Prepare and serve food, maintain inventory, and ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Equipment Operation: Operate electronic cash registers and other equipment as needed.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Rural area, bakery environment.
- Fast-paced environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
- Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a physically demanding environment.
