Overview

The Taber Production Operator will play a key role in the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada by providing leadership in the operations of our manufacturing functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery with varying levels of complexity.
  • Conduct daily sanitation activities and support biweekly site sanitation.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with colleagues.
  • Be punctual and attend all scheduled shifts.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of all areas of manufacturing in an entry-level role.

Shift Schedule: 3 shifts on, 3 shifts off, 12 hours per shift (must be available for day and night shifts).

Requirements:

  • Excellent physical coordination and conditioning.
  • Good speaking and writing skills.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and committed to following safety and food safety protocols.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift/carry 45-60 lbs. constantly for 12 hours a day.
  • Must be able to push/pull up to 80 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
  • Complete Safety, Quality/Food Safety training and adhere to the Safety and Food Safety policies required for your area.
